DESCRIPTION
A versatile protective coating specifically formulated for the professional roofing contractor. A precise blend consisting of select clay, asphalt, and water. Dries to a tough protective surface. Acid and alkali resistant. Contains no VOC's. 100% ASBESTOS FREE!
USES
Provides additional weathering protection for asphalt roofing systems or properly prepared metal roofs. Also used as a surface preparation for the application of aluminum roof coatings as well as damp proofing of concrete and masonry surfaces and ICF (insulated concrete forms).
APPLICATION
The surface to receive TAM-PRO 845 Non-Fibered Emulsion Coating must be clean, free of dirt, debris, oil, grease, rust, etc. and must be structurally sound. In any case where adhesion is found to be marginal, prime the surface with TAM-PRO 813 Quick Asphalt Dry Primer at the rate of 3/4 gallons per 100 square feet prior to the application of TAM-PRO 845 Non-Fibered Emulsion Coating. As an alternative on nonmetal surfaces, TAM-PRO 845 Non-Fibered Emulsion Coating mixed 50/50 with water can be used as a primer at a rate of approximately 1 gallon per 100 square feet. NOTE: All metal surfaces must be primed with TAM-PRO 813 Quick Dry Asphalt Primer. Allow primer to thoroughly cure for 24 to 72 hours, depending upon weather conditions. Apply one coat of TAM-PRO 845 Non-Fibered Emulsion Coating at the rate of 2 to 4- gallons per 100 square feet with a roofers brush or spray apparatus. If the emulsion is to serve as a base for an aluminum coating, it must be allowed to thoroughly cure prior to application of the aluminum coating, normally 72 hours minimum.
